Manual v Electronic Speedometer.

Replacement of automatic transmission was stalled by the fact that the replacement transmission fitted to a 2.8L V6 1988 Firebird has a manual speedo connector where the car originally had an electronic speedometer.

Any suggestions on the best way to deal with this?

all you need to do is get a eletronic speed sensor like the one that was in your original tranny. it is located on the drivers side toward the tail of the tranny.
