92 Cavalier Ground up remake project need everyones ideas and suggestions

Hello all. I was recently given a 92 cavalier. its a crap car for the most part. engine is the 2.1 4 banger. Im redoing it from the ground up. Im making a custom one of a kind from scrath carbon fiber wide body kit for it. What i need are suggestions on What's the best engine that will fit in it and is highly modifiable. PLus id like to have a 6 speed trany. Im a body guy for the most part so im looking for suggestions on all other aspects of it. Im hoping to find a totaled vehical in a junk yard and grab an engine to mod. most of the rest new. So what brake kits suspinsion etc etc. would you all suggest.
