The new 2004 Rubicons are nice as mess. They come with lift kit and alot of other nice features. If i could get any jeep it would be a gunmetal blue Rubicon with a 3 inch lift and some 33inch tires, with nice chrome bumpers

Re: Looking for suggestions on wich jeep ????

i know there are plenty of used cj's out there that have already been lifted, big tires, etc. there are also plenty of yj's that are also. if you want a jeep that you can work on with ease i'd go with a cj, mid to late 70's. if you want something a little newer and a little less abused, but harder to work on, get a yj. but stay away from '87-'90 yj's, they have too many problems and you will spend over your 10k buget just trying to fix everything. you might be able to find a tj for under 10k but i'm not sure. one thing is for certain though-if you buy a jeep you'd better learn to how to fix it. cause jeeps break, alot.

If it were me, i would pick up a decent cj-7 for around 5-6000 and take the rest of the money and mod it a little. you can fine good CJ's for around that price and a little cheaper. But i'm just a fan of the CJ's.
