My Brother's First Drawing

My brother attempted to draw his prelude yesterday. It's his first car drawing.

That is all.

Here's another. It's a work in progress of the lieberman skyline.
I was drawing in then he had a go.

I think your brother has talent.

I would also recommend him tracing picts.

I think tracing really helped me when I was a kid.
I use to take my paper and trace images on windows in my house.
I think it helped me learn how to draw.

Re: My Brother's First Drawing

I like the first one! How old is he?

Lines are a little shaky, but overall the proportions are very good! Shading isn't bad either!

Keep it up!

To draw with a broken pencil is pointless.

Re: My Brother's First Drawing

His cars look a little twisted so I think the grid techinique should help him out as well as a couple tracings.

that is a good suggestion.

also, get a book on basic drawing in 3-d space.
most how-to books have a chapter on it.

My brother has finished his skyline.
He couldn't be bothered coloring in the whole thing.
