Unhappy Theft problem - please help

I had my truck broken into, (01 Sierra Xcab)
The poped the passenger door cylinder, My question is how did they bypass my Alarm ? Also My entire Cluster is out as well as my Speedo, Front headlights. They cut the stock wiring harness for the radio. I just want to figure out how they bypassed my Alarm my truck was less then 20feet from my bedroo. window, I didnt here a thing.

I don't think the alarms will go off when popping the cylinders and unlocking the doors that way, but if you had a window partially down and someone sticks there hand in and uses the power unlocks it will go off

Actually, they can disarm the alarm from popping the lock. All that needs to happen is the green wire inside the lock to see ground to disarm. ALso, your truck might not have content theft alarm but jsut the passlock system instead.

Where is this green wire ?
Also my Alarm doest work now, is it because of this green wire ?
