" Nighthawk " Tamiya S2000. First work with putty.

well, here it is...im calling this car nighthawk cause the paint is nighthawk black pearl. its beautiful, jus havent laid it on the car yet. i will be customizing front bumper and side skirts on this car. the putty is laid down, jus needs sanding. im using the stock chrome wheels, jus cause i like how they look. it could use some lowering, but i dont know how to on this project. maybe ill figure it out later. heres the pics:

LOL Working with putty isn't always nice. It costs lots of time and lots of patience. On the other hand, nobody will have the same car as you do The puttywork on my S2000 is done. Just need to have some paint now. Lowering the car isn't that hard IMO. The suspension isn't very complicated.

Oops, forgot to tell you: Never buy another body. Not necessary at all. My hood broke down in 6 pieces, did some work on it and it looks perfect again sooo... If puttywork goes slow and you need to sand away a thick layer, just use a Dremel or something. Isn't very precise but works very fast.

Re: " Nighthawk " Tamiya S2000. First work with putty.

alrighty...i laid the putty down and let it dry for a day. after sanding, the edges were still rough and werent blending into the sides of the car. so its like jagged. its just the edges that are bugging me. should i go to hobby lobby and get some sanding sticks?

Get those sanding sticks. But they do get expensive after awhile. So what I do is walk into a nail salon and grab some of the nail files there. Fer-eee!

Nighthawk black pearl is awesome.. It has blue flake's in it so it turns blue in light, I painted my civic I'm building nighthawk.
