the waiting process always sucks!

I finally got everything put together on my engine and put into my car, started it and got a oil leak from the oil filter bracket, I took it off and the gasket was bad, so I call the local parts houses and they told me I could only get it from the dealer. I went to the parts store and bought some gasket material and made 2 gaskets that were close to perfect, but I cant get it to seal no matter how hard I try. Now I have to get it from the dealer anyways which sucks becuase the nearest mitsu dealer that has one is over 3 hours away. I called them and ordered one, and it wont be here until tuesday! ! So my car is STILL not working, It has been almost 2 months since I have been w/o my car, and since everything with this engine install has been going wrong!! I guess it is just like I said, the waiting process always sucks Well thats all of my complaining, just needed to vent some of my frustration.
