Trying to sell my 96 Maxima...

Hey everyone... I'm about to go to college, and can't have a car, so I will be selling it in the near future... I just wanted ya'll opinions on how much I should list it for.... Here's the specs:

96 Maxima GLE (with all the extras)
4 new tires
Brand new front bumper, back bumper, and trunk.
113,000 miles
no signs of any mechanical problems
taken great care of it through out the years (as all Maxima owners do, I'm sure!)...Only used Premium gas, like the manual said to do...
Cold-Air intake with sensor mod
Custom diamond-plated floor mats and matching mud flaps
Brand new non-dusting brakes (still in box)
Brushed aluminum dash kit
Many interior lights, most are blue...

That's all I can think of right now, so how much you guys think I should list it for?

Also, all of those extras can be removed is the buyer doesnt want them...nothing on it is permanent.

Thanks,
Andrew Bucklin

P.S. I also have some ADR Rydox rims (never used...new in box) that fit the car that I might throw in, but dont include those in the estimation on what you think I should sell it for...

Re: Trying to sell my 96 Maxima...

Depends where you are. In the Southeast, I wouldn't ask for more than $6,500. Stock with rims and upgraded lighting in MINT condition is fetching $5,500. Dealers here are asking $6200 for stock 96's in pretty good shape. Good Luck though.

I'd have to agree with SuperStock about the price you probably won't get more than $5,550 if that in the Southwest, though I don't know where your trying to sell it from... just remember cars are money holes... you never get out what you put in to em... thought I'm interested in the rims... how much you askin? gotta pic of em?

I'll sell ya the rimz for $700. They are still new in the original box. I only opened one box, just to see what they looked like.

No, they are actually 8-lug rims, and fit a ton of different cars. It said they fit the 5-lug pattern, which is what I have on my 96Maxima, and what I would assume that you have too.

Re: Trying to sell my 96 Maxima...

judging from that picture i can't see any 5-lug that it would fit...none of them line up right to fit a 5-lug

OK, well this is what the specs said:

Universal 5 lugs
40 Off Set
5x100 or 5x114.3 Bolt Patterns

They also had a table that listed fitment of cars they knew about: You can view it here:

Re: Trying to sell my 96 Maxima...

ok i was just sayin...if that pic was exactly the same as how the rims looked then i dont see how they would fit a 5-lug car...but hey...if they can...then they can...
