Security Code for 97 4runner
Hi,
I just bought a 97 and was going to replace the fuel filter. This requires disconnecting the battery which requires me to re-enter the 3 digit security code for the cd player. I don't know the code and Toyota wants $25 for it. I've heard that it's the same code for various models/years. Does anyone know if this is true and if so what my 3 digit code is?? Much appreciated.

Well just wondering would not entering the code after replacing the battery give a sideeffect of not being able to play cd's? because i am having a problem with my cdplayer and i dont know if that is the problem and is this 3 digit secuity code attainable from a Toyota Dealership?
