Exclamation I need help choosing an amp

what kind of amp should i get if i bought 2 Rockford Fosgate HE RFP3412 12" 4-ohm Component Subwoofers? i could use your opinions... thanks

get a class D amp with as much power as you can afford. You can always turn the gains down if it's too much power.

I don't know the ratings of most specific equipment ....... but I would think 400-600 watts RMS should be enough to push a pair of 12's

500 watts RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms
900 watts RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms

what does that mean? and would that be good for the two subs?

no, you have em backwards, the site says 4 ohm is 500, 2 ohm is 900 in the general section. Up top they just messed up. So with that amp I would say you are going to get about 400 at 2 ohms and 100 maybe 200 at 4 ohm.
