squadron white putty?

is this putty any good? picked up 2 tubes of it for 4 bucks jus to try it out...

From what I've heard around here Squadron White is a really good putty. I've seen some pretty awesome body styles by people using Sqaudron.

yes it pretty good putty it is all i use and i works great just before u go to apply it get ur finger wet it cuts down on sanding time and the amount of putty u use

I'm not a big fan of Squadron white, I have found it to be too coarse.
Squadron green on the other hand I really like.

I hate squadron white. All I end up with is a mess and a big headache. The fumes are horrible.

If you want to do body sculpturing and reshaping you really need to use a two part(putty and hardener-catalyst) putty. It's the only type that will not shrink over time. If you use Squadron white look at it 6 months from now and you will be sorry you used it. Two of the best are Dynatron Puttycoat and Evercoat brand. You have to by them at a Automotive paint supply shop. Dynatron is so smooth it can be polished to a shine that matches the plastic, and it feather edges very well.

The people that say it is so good have not tried anything better, Green or white it's some of the worst stuff out there, in a category with Testor's so called primer.

use the bondo spot and glaze putty
people say its no good but i have never had a problem with it!

It is ok for very small holes,seems or grooves, but anything bigger needs a two part putty. Bondo makes a good one called Bondo Ultimate, it has a blue label and is a finer grade than regular(gold label)Bondo. The two part putties dry as quick as 5 minutes.

3M's Piranha Putty is also a good 2-part product.
