New baby humming bird pics :D *56K at your own risk*

A couple of months ago I posted this:

Sadly this nest got destroyed in a storm so nothing every became of whatever was in the nest....if there ever was anything.

But at my office, we had babies about a week and ahalf to 2 weeks ago. The mother built her nest on the very end of a dead and broken branch that hangs precariously over the stairs of our building. A little side note...our building is square-shaped, but if you were to look at it from above, it would have a hole in the middle and the tree this nest is in grows up through that hole....it's a weird old building. But anyway, the mom and babies have become the talk and concern of the office. We have a liability issue if the branch were to break off and hit someone coming up the stairs....but it's been broken for a long time and survived many storms as it sits. My boss decided to put some orange wet floor cones on the stairs to keep people from walking under that branch.

Anyway picture time..........

Are you going to squash it under a bucket and spray it with a whole can of fly spray?

That's as close as I can get. I was literally leaning on the rail of our landing (we're on the 2nd floor) and holding my arms out as far as I could, while praying I wouldn't drop the camera then explain to my husband why I needed $500 for a new camera

Thats easy, you just tell him you needed a canon with an extra telephoto lens, and that it was luckey it was just the camera that fell.
