Re: I have personalized the Soap of Doom

Actually I would like to try score a set of Volvo 850 seats....the NSX seats ain't got nothing on those as far as comfort goes. Sometime in the next 2 weeks we're gonna finally pull them and the wheels off of the Neon The guy that helped with my headwork in January is taking the head, then it looks like we're sending it off to the junkyard....no one's interested in buying it for a motorswap car.

Dunno, I am at the point where I just want the car gone so a. I can stop looking at it and b. so I can get the Saturn into the garage. It would just be easier to get it out of here instead of waiting on others to take it away.

alot of states actually got nice plates.

Ontario is simply blue lettering on a reflective white background. *yawn*

As far as I can remember in plate colors for AZ were:

In the 60's: yellow w/black lettering
In the 70's: orange with green lettering (Brady Bunch styin')
In the 80's til mid90's: maroon/reddish with white lettering

Now we have several choices, the ones I posted are now the standard issue. You can also get environmental plates, alternative fuel plates (proof required), child abuse prevention, ASu/NAU/UofA, and several more. It's scary!

you can personalize Ontario plates too, with little pictures to the left side of the lettering.

one of the most popular around here is the Maple Leafs' symbol, but there's hundreds of others, like a Loon (the bird), a Trillium (ontario's provincial flower), symbol of your favourite band, an animal of some sort, or hell even your favourite TV show. case in point, my mom's friend has a Plymouth Voyager. her license plate is "VOYAJR" and she has the Star Trek symbol to the left of it. Star Trek VOYAJR.

we also have different colored ones for different jobs. yellow with black lettering is a dealer plate (ie when you take a car out for a test drive, they slap one on), red with white lettering is a diplomat's car, and there's a few others i can't remember.

but our plates still aren't as nice as those.

Re: I have personalized the Soap of Doom

I believe my state offers more varieties of plates that any other.
I know that there are plates for natives, fire fighters, honerably discharged veterans, horseless carriages, vintage, truck, trailers, and so many more that I can't remember them all - not even to count the different colors and styles.

There's also the highly annoying "respect life" plates.
