Angry Cooling Fans don't turn on

My cooling fans are not working and I've already replaced the relay and the temperature sensor. I also tested the fans directly from the battery and they work fine. Does anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks for the help.

Let your car run at IDLE for 15 minutes. The radiator fan should turn on within that time frame.

Check this out. It might not be specific for your car but you'll get the idea on how most radiator fan works.

Re: Cooling Fans don't turn on

if you have a stock PCM the fans are supposed to start either when the engine temp reaches 210 or when the AC/Compressor is engaged. If the temp needle in your dash get's all the way up to where the red hi temp warning light comes on then you might have a PCM problem. IF you replaced the Relays and temp sensor, tested the fans directly to the battery then the most probable cause is open circuits at the PCM. I do not remember correctly but either the PCM provides 12VOlts to the relay or grounds it to start the fans and if this circuit open up the fan will never start even tought the PCM might tell you that is trying to do so.
