whats the difference????
whats up everyone? i am new to the talon part of this board.i used to have a 97 probe gts but i got that sold and now i was thinking about looking for a talon or eclipse. but i got a few questions. dont call me a dumbass either! whats the difference between a regular talon, an esi, and a tsi? i know that the tsi's are turbo but what the hell is an esi? and what the hell is "dsm"??? sorry if i am a dumbass but i need to know what type i am looking for!

TSi comes in Turbo and front wheel drive like the Eclipse GS-T, or in Turbo and AWD like an Eclipse GSX. DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors, which was the merger of Mitsu and Chrysler for the manufacturing of a few cars (Laser, Galant, Talon, and Eclipse and also the Stealth and 3000GT. Hope this helps.

if you are looking to get one, i'd recommend an AWD since they have better traction. Although i think the 2wd DSMs get a little better gas mileage...but not much
