Question 97 Prelude rattle???

Hey fellas, i had posted this topic once before and now that i got some more details i though i would see if enyone could relate or tell me whats up...97 lude automatic, ok when im driveing i will be going eny speed under 2000RPM and if i exellerate just a bit something will raddle in the front and it sounds like detonation but im sure its not with 91 octane and octane boost, or going up a hill it will do it but only under 2000RPM and if i stop and the give some gas to go it will rattle and i really have no idea whats up, ive checked everything, i know its not heat sheild under the car cuz i always hit it going up curbs and the sound never changes, it sounds like it comeing from the right side of the car, the more i drive around the worse it sounds and it gets a bit louder but if its cold it wont really do it just from driveng long time around town cuz im delivery driver so lots of driveing and stop and go stuff, oil level is good, new plugs, i take really good care of my car and im really anel with it, so one noise drives me nuts, everything engine wise is perfectly sound, compression, plugs, new oil, and the manifold heat sheild is gone, im really hopeing someone can help it really worries me...thanks guys.

Re: 97 Prelude rattle???

might be that, i had that problem with my CAI on my 4th the bracket that secured it to the car wasnt properly secured and it rattled it only happend in neutral or the lower rpm band so there's a small chance that might be your problem. is the rattle more of a high pitched or low pitched rattle?

Just a thought, my 93 had a strange vibration when the throttle was lifted. Turned out to be coming from inside the catylitic converter, and it was tought to find.
