HELLO IF I REMOVE my STOCK AIR BOX DO i have to have a FILTER or can i leave it with with out one when i crack my engine will it damage it thanks

OK...YOU CAN STOP WITH THE ALL CAPS...well no you dont HAVE to have one but it will mess up your engine. how about take a look at your the air filter that is in the stock air box. if youve had your car for a couple of months...then it is probably dirty. when i checked mine, i had leaves in it. see, the filter stops harmful particles from entering the engine. just think of what would happen if leaves would get into my engine. so no you dont HAVE to have one but you need to keep one on your car. its there for a reason. i dont know if anybody will tell you that you dont need one. and one more thing, it would help to use periods when you end sentences. it was kinda hard to understand what you were tryin to say. just a little tip for future reference. hope i answered the question for you. good luck
