88 Ranger/89 Ranger Will parts fit?

Hi folks! I have an 89 4wd ranger supercab. I have a chance to buy an 88 ranger 4 wd [reg. cab], that is flooding out. Will the parts off of the 88 fit on the 89?

By the way. The 89 is a 2.9l automatic and the 88 is a 2.9l standard.

Not sure about swapping trannys, but the motor, body and suspension should almost all be interchangable. Pretty sure, But not 100% positive
