hard shift

I'm expericencing hard shifts coming out of park. I live where I have to park mostly on an incline. I have confirmed issues to have the emergency park applied first as the manual states before placing into park, but I don't belive this to be the answer.

I'm wondering if this has anything to do w/ the trans as I have yet to get it changed out. bought at 65000 and now has 85000miles. any reply appreciate.

Re: hard shift

We too park our WS on an incline, both nose up, and tail up. In either case, if the Pbrake is NOT set, it shifts hard out of "P", with a clunk/vibration.
