I have a Dark Red '03 GT and am customizing it with silver and chrome colors inside and out. I was wondering is there any way to take out the orange reflector in the headlamp and replace it with a chrome one or do i need to replace the entire headlight?

You shouldnt do it because the headlights are sealed, but thats what I did for my 92 GT. You have to carefully(very carefully!) "break" the front section off the headlight assembly. Then, one again break the amber insert out. Then use a small, carefully placed amount of clear silicone to reseal them 100%. While your in there use the headlamp haze fix in the tech section to clean em up real good.

Re: Removing the amber parking lamp reflectors
When you say "break", do you mean take the glass part of the headlight assembly from the plastic molding on the back?

Well they used some type of a hard silicone or something from the factory to put the lens on the headlight assembly. Thats where it needs to be seperated from. I believe its like a grey in color, you'll know. Like I said be careful though cause you can crack the lens easy. I used a razor to weaken the factory glue, which then made it pry apart a little easier. You might wanna get a junked one from a salvage yard and practice first before you bust yours up.

Re: Removing the amber parking lamp reflectors
Yeah, i thought about that. One guy told me to put the entire headlight in the oven, but i thought that was a little drastic.
