Should I get a Corolla or Jetta?

I am considering getting either a new 2004 Corolla LS or Jetta. I like both of them, but I would be getting each one for different reasons. I would get the Corolla because it's reliable and nice, but I feel like everyone has one. I would get the Jetta because of its sporty and young looks, but it's reliability scores aren't very good. What has been your experience (or what have you heard) with either one of these cars? Especially with respect to reliability, handling, and looks. Thanks.

Smile Corolla all the way.

I would get a corolla. Cost of operating is less and total vehicle cost is less. About 14k for a 2003 compaired to 18k for 2003 Jetta. The corolla is a performance car disguised as a family car. Under the hood, you can do a lot to it's egine for very little.
But if you want to pay 18K for a new 2004 Corolla XRS, you can get the 2zz-ge Engine w/ a 6-speed ( about 200 HP compared to 145HP regular corollas)
