I'm not being cheap, I just didn't know if this was a reasonable price or not.
I've had the 4 cyl. Camry belt replaced for $150.00 so I needed to know if there's that much more involved in the six of the 4Runner. |

If you can't get a recommendation, go to a dealer. If you find a recommended mechanic who does solid work, the dealer has no advantage that makes up for the difference in price on this job.

Well I had the drive belts, Timing belt, and Water pump replaced at Toyota of Richardson for $525.00
I'm pleased with the work and ToyotaTech is right: "Warranty on all work done"! |

Just for information's sake, I would get a recommendation for dealers also. Not all service departments are created equal. Some really suck. Warranty or no warranty.
