Question 02 beetle coolant

I own a 02 beetle with a 2.0L, I blew a radiator hose, can you tell me do I use the green antifreeze or the pink Dexcool coolant? Any help is appreciated!!

Hello, I Have A Vw 2000 Beetle. Changed Plugs, Drive Belt, Fuel Filter. 2 Days Later Eg. Lite Came On.
Changed Air Filter.
Eng. Lite On Again.
Changed O2 Sensor Before Cat
Eng. Lite On Again.
Changed O2 Sensor 2nd One.
13 Days Later Eng. Lite On Again....????????
Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions As To What Might Be Happening W/my Bug? $1200. Into This. Runs Great, But Going Thru More Gas Is What I Have Noticed This Last Fill Up.
Please Someone Help Me.

If you're going thru heaps of petrol then it could be the coolant temp sensor which has failed - this will cause the ECU to think the engine is still cool and use a richer fuel mixture which then causes the oxygen sensors to fail. Just a guess.

If you haven't already done so, you've gotta find out what code it's throwing. From your description, it could be many things, including something simple like a vacuum line disconnected when changing sensors.

Code reading is fairly simple, and perhaps a local parts house will read for you...they'll certainly sell you a reader!

Once you have the code, repost, and we'll see what we can do!
