Alittle drag

i have a 94 cavi, it only has about 35000 miles on it so not much is worn out, but i have been noticing that there is drag on the car when i am trying to go uphill. its not a ton, but it seems that i really have to push down on that gas pedal to get it going up the hill, lol with gas at 2+$ i dont really want to be slamming on my gas pedal. any ideas what the drag could be from?
also, i used to have a high pitch squeal coming from the engine when it was on, i thought it was the timing belt, but one day the noise just stopped. also, none of my check engine lights are on...

Re: Alittle drag

possibly your breaks? the squealing could have been your wear sensors.

Re: Alittle drag

you think that would have been something a mechanic would pick up on inspection? i had it inspected about 2 months ago, and the noise was there too. he just never said anything about it.
