Engine heating???

hey guys, i just bought my 93vtec prelude about 3 weeks ago and ever since i bought it, whenever i go on highway or even about 50-60mph i feel a significant amount of heat coming into the cabin near my legs. i heard preludes never have a problem with overheating so i was wondering if this is weird. Also, my car only has 58kmiles so its practically new.

I'm assuming you've checked that your heater isn't on?

Sometimes that happens to me if my climate is set to hot even if my fans are off. Could that be the problem? Or you could try turning the climate to cool then switching the settings to just the higher vents...

yeah, my prelude gets hot too, but I think that's normal since the engine runs very hot.

well if ur temp. meter doesn't go over the middle bar then ur fine...if it does then it could be many resons y ur engine might be over heating..tho it sounds like u just get hot air...which is probally normal...
