2001 accent gsi odur like burnt plastic?

ok went driving yesterday and half way in i detect a odur like burnt plastic or burnt rubber, (i did do a accedental burnout, to much gas) but it is still lingering today, could it be brake pads or electrical?

soory but am new to driving std. dont even have full licence yet but am soon going to get.

update: well got the car towed to dealership for service and to check the tranny and cluch but right now car will bairly move and will only work in 1st and reverse car is still under warrenty so it should cover the repairs. so will update later

well found out today it was the hydrolic clutch master cylender it was a factory defect so it now has a new clutch and cylender for free!!

so that is a recall!!!

i was gonna say plastic bag burnt onto the exhaust lines, happened to me before, smelled like shit for like a month til it all burned off...

On my old vehicle a Mazda Protege, a plastic bag somehow got caught on the underside of the vehicle near the muffler and it burned itself to it. Every once in a while I would smell this nasty smell and when I took it in they found it. Glad you got it fixed Go Hyundai Warranty.

I checked Hyundai webtech and I do not see anything on it though.
