Question Ignition timing on a 94 T-bird

Hello All,
My 94 T-Bird w/3.8lit makes a lot of noise when you give it some gas. I want to check the Ignition timing.
Would anyone know?

Re: timming on a 94 T-bird

Would anyone know what? How to check the timing? What the timing should be?

Just one question - what makes you think your problem is timing just because it makes 'noise'?

Can you describe the noise?

Re: timming on a 94 T-bird

Unless your check engine light has been coming on, there will be no codes to be read.

This may help you out:
