Unhappy Shimmy in 98 Contour V6

There is this vibration I feel in the wheel when I engage brakes at 30~40 mph. Does not happen when I apply brakes at other speeds. Got new front brake pads and resurfaced the rotors in the front brakes about a month back. The wheels were balanced and rotated too at that point. The problems still persists and have spent too much money on it. Dont know if there is problem with the ABS. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you mean dodge, If you don't like ford's. Don't post here. I have the same problem in my contour. I'm not totally sure what it is but my guess it's because the pad's didnt wear right.

The non svt rotors had a problem of warping. Sometimes flipping the rotors can help temporarily.
