Anyone ever used Hyundai's College grad program to buy a car?
I am wanting to buy a Hyundai, specifically a Elentra GT, and I want to use the college grad program but have questions I don't want to ask a dealer.
1.) My understanding is that if you meet the grad or soon to be grad requirement + job/job offer, you are qualified, but the interest rate will be 7-10%? Is this true? I know this is steep, but I really need a new car for no money down, no payment for 90 days, etc.
2.) Related to #1, do people still not qualify because of credit issues? My understanding is that even if you have less than perfect credit (like, for example, high credit card balance), you'll still get a car through Hyundai's college grad financing as long as you buy a car you can afford based on your salary.
Any information (like testimony from people who have used the Hyundai College Grad program) is welcome and appreciated...
Thanks!
