Engine Swap

Hola everyone! I have a question. As most of you know I don't have a Civic. I know I know I know...shame shame shame. But I am getting one this summer!! The first thing I want to do with my Civic (96-00) is to swap the engine. It's instant horsepower. I saw something about a B16. It has DOHC and has about 189HP, its a JPN import.
My question to ya'll is how much should I pay for this engine, and is that even the right engine to get???? Please post some info for me!

What are the specs on the H22? And in a small town, would normal mechanics know how to properly install it? I like the b16b and the b18c5. Plus how does this look in the price range? Also, do you know any websites that might have engines for sale?
