Hey, I'm new here so be nice.
I just bought a 1990 K1500 today. It is standard cab and long box, and it has a 350. I was wondering what dual exhaust system to get. I want something that has a nice deep rumble (but not to loud). I want the tips coming out at an angle (not the straight back and not right behind the wheels). And I need it as cheap as possible. Oh... and it has to improve gas mileage! Boy, what a time to buy a truck, what with gas prices almost hitting $2 and all. Anyways... any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Dual Exhaust?!?!?! Which Kind?!?!?!
gibson, flowmaster, are the 2 popular ones and they give you the sound you want. Go talk to a exhaust shop they will set you up. I personally recomend turn-downs over tips though as you get a better and louder sound, but other will fight over this. (it is also cheaper bc you do not have to buy chrome tips or the extra piping)

Re: Dual Exhaust?!?!?! Which Kind?!?!?!
Flowmasters, 70 series. Have them on my truck, nice mellow sound, not too loud, virtually no cab noise, and they improved my gas mileage buy roughly 1 mpg (17-18 before, 18-19 now)
