Im So Pissed
So i pull in today and my car is leaking anti-freeze, I open the hood look around and its comming out of the water pump, I decide to tighten the water pump bolts (thinking i didnt torque them enough after my recent cam installation) and SNAP
I broke the bolt off, so right now im too pissed ot even look and see if there is a nub sticking out or if its in the block, i dont even wanna know right now, un-freeking belivable, more bullshit work i have to do

ha damn that sucks, sound like something i would do, did you happen to catch where the water wsa coming from? cause when they go bad they leak from the weap hole

new pump, it was commin out of the pump where it meets the gasket for sure.

oo ok, yea just pull that bad boy off, add some gasket sealant and you should be ok

bust out the drill and the 5/16 tap, or is 3/8? ahh who cares

I know how ya feel man.. I just put $5000 into my supra motor to find out the guy stripped EVERY one of the 6 exhaust manifold studs in.. Its an aluminum head and now its leakin.. Fresh engine and it sounds like a 72 ford 1/2 ton....

That really sucks.. but when you think about it, its really funny too. I laughed pretty hard. That's something I would do. You have to put that on your list of dumb things you've done to "fix" your car.
