check engine code P0455

the code is P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak
i think this was the code that came up when it was 1 yr old but dealer fixed it under waranty and all the code says to check is gas cap(replaced) and something with the vapor canister. i think the dealer replaced a sensor by tank somewhere but i cant remember. anyone had same prob? or know about the vapor canister on a 2000 ranger? i am an old school mechanic and not to familiar with all this new tech.

Could this be another cause for check engine light to appear? What is that?

thats whats causing check engine light to come on. it has to do with a leak in the vapor recovery system. dose anyone know about this system?

well i fixed it. the service port for emissions vapor recovery was cracked and leaking fumes.
