more advice needed...

first i just wanted to thank everyone for there advice, its very helpful to me, but now i need more, right now i currently have the stock intake on my 94 s10 2.2 and i wanna get as much power from an intake as i can with my very low budget...lol.. i have a k&n filter which helped out a little but i want more, i was thinking of making my own intake, i already have a cone filter, and i heard you can use PVC pipe. is this a good idea, also, i know where i can get the whole k&n intake, but its off of a jeep, can this somehow rig up and work for my truck? do you know anywhere that sells a complete intake for under 150, cause im low on cash. thanks alot guys!

k&n does make a full intake for it but its almost 300 dollars and i really dont have that much right now, i was going to make my own intake for it, rather than using the stock intake with a k&n filter

If you can be patient I would suggest watching Ebay for what you need. I get many parts from ebay that are slightly used or new. Most parts are from people who buy the parts new but never use them then they sell on ebay. Example would be the $275 Edelbrock T.E.S. system I got for about $170. It was new the guy just never installed it. His loss my gain.

If you dont see anything on ebay today be patient. There might be 4 of them on there next week.
