Re: swap on 91 crx?

if I am not mistaken, wasn't the 2001 a 7th gen, which would not be the y8....and would not be easily compatible..

Re: swap on 91 crx?

Yes it will work but you should use your stock tranny either dx or si then you will not have to convery to hydro. To do it right wire it to OBD1 I know it was stock OBD2 but OBD1 is easier to ecu tweek if you plan on that. It is a direct bolt in as far as the mounting but I would suggest getting new motor mounts and/or inserts. It will help out with the extra 20+ hp you will be getting. The z6 is the same basic thing.

Re: swap on 91 crx?

yep pretty compatable. OBD1 is the way to go. With a P28 ecu(which is from a 5thgen ex. Use all obd1 componets. You can keep you tranny and the mounts bolt up perfectly. definatley get an si transmission also.

Re: swap on 91 crx?

also if u want use a Si distro
(the A6 distro is a direct swap)
and use a 1 wire convirsion thats the best that way u can stay OBD-0
