this is a little off topic, maybe someone can help!
i need help with my shifter knob in my tacoma,
its a 5 speed. i tried twisting it off but im afraid to use to much muscle and rip the shifter out of the tranny....lol anyone help....please

there's prolly some kindof fastener that you have to unattach (although i guess that's kindof a given). i know that some manufacturers have to tabs that extend strait down from the shifter under the boot that clip on to pegs at the base of the shifter. maybe you have one of those deals...

Why not check the toyota forum??? If theres no screw or anything in the back of it, I would think its a twist off. By back I mean the side facing the front of the truck...

hey guys why do i get the feeling the words... yeah its me, the first time i registered,
i done the quick registration, and i couldnt post any pics in my messages or anything. and since im well known as tacoma man i figured id stick to that name rather than going with something else.

umm, ok thats believable but just for sure, cuz if you know this guy and stuff hes a real pain, if you wouldnt mind posting something up with the other name just saying that. cuz i know other people have wondered too. and then that would get rid of any last doubt. dont mean to be a pain but with that guy and everything on the street racing threads there is alot of phsyco people on here.
