bent frame, still worth it?

My 88 hatch has a bent frame casue it got hit in the front, it pulls to the right kinda bad. If i get it aligned do you guys think it would still be worth keeping it and building it or should i just drive it to school for a year or so then sell it. It has a new d15b2 and clutch but the interior is not good and it has a few dents.

Re: bent frame, still worth it?

if the frame is bent, i would get rid of it. Its not really safe. How did you get hit?

My sugguestion would be to find a bare car (same year) and swap the parts on it or just part it out on AF or ebay. Im sure you can usually get a good amount for undamaged body panels, etc...

You sure its a bent frame if you a wheel alignment is not going to help and I doubt you can get a frame alignment for $100. If you can do the frame and you should be good to go. You could have bent a-arm or strut rod if thats all it is you can go to the local J/Y and pick one up for little or nothing off any 4th gen civic 2dr, 4dr, or rex there all the same size.

if its just the front cross member under the rad thats bent then replace it! i got one for 50 bux when i put my car onto a curb, took me an hour 2 replace it cuz it had snow all built up inside lol, but yea if its the piece under the rad it IS replaceable, just find a nice solid one and replace it. mine pulled 2 when i curbed the car and since i replaced it, its fine now, do ur front wheels look pushed back into the wheel well a bit? like towards the back? if so thats prolly wut it is, theres a rod connected to the LCA that goes to the frame/cross member, if that gets pushed back it makes the car pull 2 one side alot.

just my 2 cents, and i hope thats what is wrong so u can keep ur hatchie on the road!
