CDV is evil

I recently had the CDV modified/removed by David Zeckhausen in NJ. I cannot suggest strongly enough to anyone with a stick shift BMW to have this abomination removed from the car immediately.

David has a web site that explains this device in eloquent detail that I will not try to imitate. In short, it is evil.

I drove to him, had it removed and drove away with the car the way it should be in well under an hour. As he installs a gutted valve in the car, the look is stock so no service agent will easily know it is missing. The car is more responsive, shifts cleaner and it more accurately reflects the motto of "the ultimate driving machine". Best $100 I have spent. He also offers a deal if you are in the mood to get dirty and change it yourself.

You need to remove this valve NOW.
