PLEASE Can't someone help with motor swap

I need information on swapping out my 88 350 TB with a carbed 454. What I need to know is if the fuel pump will work for the carbed motor? Any sensors that need to be bypassed/hooked-up differently so the computer will fire the motor? Will the 700r4 trany be a problem? I will use the HEI from the 350, so that shouldn't mater, or will it?

Re: PLEASE Can't someone help with motor swap

My First Thought Is That If You Have To Ask These Kind Of Questions You Should'nt Be Atemping This Kind Of Job......

But Here Goes,

The Fuel Pump Will "work", However You'll Have To Use A Pressure Regulator To Cut The Press. Down,

The Sensors Don't Matter Because The 350 Computor Will Not Work No Matter What You Bypass Or Hook-up Differently.

The Trans Will Bolt Up But Since Its Electronic And Depentant On The Cumputor That Goes Back To The Second Piont.

The Dist. Should Also "fit" However It's Aslo Computor Controlled..

Depending On What The 454 Came Out Of You May Be Opening A Very Large Can Of Worms...

If The 454 Is Out Of A Computor Controlled Veh. Get All The Sensors, Wiring Computor And Everything Else Related To It..

Otherwise I'd Scrap This Idea...

Hope This Helps.....

Dave.....
