A/C will not blow cool air

Hi there people, I've ot a 2001 Escort SE (2.0) that will not blow out cool air. I think it has plenty of freon. I checked all the fuses (under the steering wheel and under the hood) I could think of and they all checked out fine. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks for you time and advice. John.

Have it checked (the refrigerant, not sure they use Freon any more). I'm not sure how to do it yourself, if you even can.

Check if the AC compressor clutch is kicking in when the switch is turned off and on.

is it blowing any air at all? if it's not blowing any air, it's your blower motor. if it is, try grabbing the accumulator and see if it's cold when the a/c is on. also if the a/c compressor clutch is kicking in and out real fast, you're low on freon. it's really kind of hard to tell if you are low without a guage set, someone with a guage set can telll you in a minute if it's low or not
