Greddy Turbo Kit

Hi Guys,

I'm considering getting the Greddy Turbo kit for the D16Z6 engine. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this kit and can tell me how well it works. I like this kit because of its street legality in CA. I believe it comes with a TD04-15G turbo and can be upgraded. How much power/boost is the TD04-15G capable of producing? How much lag is there, if any at all?

Thanks

Re: Greddy Turbo Kit

I'll tell you on the 12th of june thats when mine will be installed. capable of 15psi but factory set at 5-6psi lag is minimal from idle to about 2300rmps.

15 psi... That's not bad. Did you get the kit with or without the intercooler? I don't know why Greddy would sell a turbo kit without an intercooler, but I guess if you are running only 5-6 psi, then there is less of a risk of detonation and thus less of a need for an intercooler. I've been looking around and i've seen it as low as $1500 w/o an intercooler. Do you know of any cheaper places? Also, with the upgradability, what other options are there for upgrades, turbines, and otherwise?

Re: Greddy Turbo Kit

Greddy kit does come with fuel management piggy back for the p28 ecu. Im getting it hopefully middle of next month it is free from greddy cause of Fresno State University. I got friends its a donation to the school. So Im not sure what all is coming but it is the latest turbo kit and it does have a pfmu.
