Getting rid of musty smell...

Well, during the last big storm we had, I put my 95 T-bird into a ditch with 3 ft. of water. We got the car out and running, but it was filled to the console..needless to say it has a rather bad smell, and was just wondering if there is anything that would take out this smell?

You might try a household style steam cleaner to wash the dirt out of the carpet. However the best way would be to replace the carpet. Try www.jcwhitney.com It only costs a couple hundred dollars for the material, then all you need to do is the labor.

You also might want to take the carpet off,and make sure everythings dry under there.Or else you will have real mold growing in there in the long run.Not to mention the smell, and health threats.
