the first fix is to go and get an a/c recharge kit. i think they cost between $35-50. it's fairly easy to do. if this doesn't work, or doesn't last long, you prolly have a leak in the system somewhere and then it gets hard to trace and very expensive.

Re: A/C doesn't work in my 95 prix

First of all what isn't working? Is the fan working when you turn the a/c on? Is the clutch on the compressor engaging when you turn the a/c on? There are a lot of things that can cause an a/c system not to work other than needing recharged. Did you check the fuses to see if the fuse is blown, did you check to see if there are any traces of oil around the fittings or the condensor? If you find traces of oil around the fittings or condensor you need to fix the leak before recharging the system otherwise a recharge kit is just a waste of money. Without more information it will be difficult to help diagnose the problem. Don't go spending your money on a recharge kit if you don't need it you may only need a .25 cent fuse instead. Investigate the problem and get back with more information!

Look in the power control center under the hood. The ac fuse should be located under there. The fuses are labeled on the inside of the cover.
