Talking Frankenstein my b18 'cura 'teg LS

My Acura Integra LS '91 has a problem, well had a problem until i ripped the head off, in more or less words. in any case, my timing belt broke, and for those of you honda inthusiast, i know i should have changed it after 60 thou, but... i was not informed of when it was last changed.. so i bent my valves. ***note: 50 percent of the valves were bent, but just bearly*** Since my valves bent and I did all the work pulling the head out, why not soup the beauty up? right? I want to do a head swap.
here's the problem, I think there will be more power on top and just tear the shit out of the bottom... my pistons still have the factory criss cross marks in them and it's bearly warn at all. I keep fearing that if I try to be a bad ass chick and swap my head I'll bite off more than I can chew. I REFUSE to let anyone else work on my car... it's just the way I am. Any MORE reading you think I should do? Any ideas? Anything you think i should do since i've got my car torn apart? I'm willing to throw every cent I have into this car.. so lets do it...
