Gauge Cluster/Tachometers 88 hatch

I was wondering the difficulty and how to install a tachometer into my 1988 hatch. Like will a gauge cluster with a tachometer from another civic work. Do I have to rewire? or is it plug n play or am I better off just buying a little 3 inch tach because I really didnt want some thing chillin on the dash like that. If some can explain I would appreciate it.

I was gonna say .... a tach is EASY - power, gnd, light (optional), and one wire to the distributor
