there are a few cars to choose from. a nissan 300zx tt, a mitsubishi eclipse gs-t or gsx, cheverolet camaro z28, pontiac trans am. personally, i would go with the 300zx tt of course. low 14s and looks so beautiful.

Re: fast car under 15,000 suggestions

do you want domestic or import? Sport or luxury? 2 door or 4 door? AWD, RWD, FWD?

Okay i'll make this simple. Heres my take on the best cars in the above catagories

Overall Domestic- Camaro Z28 (Best bang for $$$)
Overall Import- BMW M3 (You can pick up a mid 90's for around 15k now..)
Best Sporty- pre 96 Corvette
Best Luxury- E36 BMW M5 (can be had for 15K for older models)
Best 2 door- Mustang GT (Affordable and power?)
Best 4 door- Taurus SHO
AWD- Subaru WRX
RWD- Camaro Z28
FWD- Honda Civic Si

Re: fast car under 15,000 suggestions

Drag Racing - Chevrolet Camaro Z28/Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Cheap, tons of 'em out there, Rear-wheel-drive V8 power.

Drifting - Nissan 240SX. Small, lightweight, and rear-wheel-drive.

Track Racing - Nissan 300ZX. You can get the twin-turbo models in good condition for a reasonable price now, and they're still some of the fastest cars out there.

Rally Racing/Dirt Racing - Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. All-wheel-drive, turbocharged coupe that you can get used for cheap. If you can afford it, though, go for a Subaru Impreza WRX.

Luxury-Sport: BMW 3 Series, or M3 if you can afford it. One of the top-rated luxury-sports for over a decade.
