need zc shortblock...where can i find one?
i know that short blocks are available for most all b series motors, but do any companies offer shortblocks for the zc?
long story short, i had my zc apart after breaking my timing belt, and while in storage the block somehow got water in the cylynders. just this past week i was ready to start piecing things back together, and started ordering things such as gaskets..etc, and found the block in pretty rough shape. the cylynder walls were coated in pretty heavy rust and had some pretty significant pitting. i figured it was pointless to get the cylynders machined, seeing how a brand new zc can be had for around $500. but if i can find a bottom end, that would be the most cost effective way to go. any links or info is greatly appreciated.
