What do u think
I have recently founfd out that my car was involved in a rear end acadent. It has bondo all over on the passenger side back. I was originaly going to competley restore it all original, but now that i found this out I dono. I could bye all the rear panels to get rid of that bondo. Let me know what u think

you know on the panels that connect the back pannel (the pannel with the tail lights) and the rear fenders connected with FACTORY filler (bondo) so they could make it round off perfectly.

its really up to you. if you have the extra time and money i would try to restore it all to the original.

its always nice to have everything original.. But some of the fillers they use now adays are stronger and will outlast the metal panels.. But I dont like the ideal of bondo either

what's wrong with bondo? when used properly it will last just as long as steel. as long as it's not thick, and or cracked i'd leave it

But the deal is that it is noticable. If someone tells me how to post pics on accessing them from my hard drive and I will show u what im working with. It isn't noticable unless u know what you are looking for. Like when u pop the trunk there aare weilds on the rim of the trunk on both sides. Also on the side that is supposed to be two pice it is sloppyly bondoed and half smoothed over.

yes in that case i would either remove it and start with new metal, or finish sanding it until it's smooth
