People with Body Kit Knowledge ENTER please!!!

You know how if you wanna get the JDM Conversion there's a choice of either Fiber Glass or OEM Metal...well what if i just wanna get a kit like: Black Widow, Bomex, Blitz or Wings West, I know they got it in Fiber Glass but will they also have it in METAL?? I don't wanna get fiber glass cuz it cracks too fast...but anyways do bodykits also come in metal????

I dont know if metal kits are available in those maufacturers. I can tell you that fiberglass is lighter and easier to repair than a metal kit would be. I think some kits are urethane this way the flex to take minor impact.
My kit is fiberglass. I wrecked it a few weeks ago and I repaired and had it back on in 48 hours. It looks like it never happened

the finish will also look diff between the metal and fiberglass kits...go metal if you can !!!! its a better fit and OE apperance..and there will be no drop in body lines or finish apperance ...not knocking the glass...metal is just a better choice for this situation

Re: People with Body Kit Knowledge ENTER please!!!

I don't remember bumpers being metal. I'm guessing they are referring to the fenders?

Basically, if you get in a wreck, your shit will be messed up regardless. The only thing you need to think about is protecting your car. If your front end is made up of fiberglass, you run a higher risk of damaging things like your frame...
