mr2 swap for 93-97 prizm

does anyone know anything about a mr2 swap for a prizm, if it will even work, what is involved, if not what other motors would swap, etc. i have a geo prizm that my parents gave me and i want to be able to race it but i dont have enough money to go buy a different car and make mods to it. thats the whole purpose for me having the prizm is to be able to mod it. wouldnt it be nice to pull up to a civic in a prizm and have them laugh at you until you smoke them? i think it would, any help would be nice unless you tell me to get rid of it.
